Is Canadian multiculturalism a real success story

I came across this infographic created by Olson about multiculturalism in Canada. The article talks about the fact that "the trend toward a growing religious, ethnic, racial, and linguistic diversity means that there are sizable visible minorities in Canada" and for the author, "immigrants and minorities are a source of experience and knowledge. Cultural interaction increases tolerance."
It is not always the case, however, and research shows, for example, that there is still a lot of discrimination against immigrant on the job market, in Quebec, with close to half of immigrant women (46%) earning 90% of their native counterpart and 60% of the salary of native quebecer men.
